My recent experience with Terry Labonte Service Center was awesome! My schedule has been quite hectic so I didn't have an appointment and although the service team was very busy they managed to get my car in, serviced and I was on my way in a very reasonable time!
I've been getting my car serviced here since I purchased it from Terry Labonte Chevrolet in early 2015. I won't go anywhere else. Robert was very helpful and introduced me to the service plan, which I immediately signed up for. Looking forward to future visits because I'm always so satisfied with the amazing customer service I always receive.
Came in with some funky problems work my life gate and also a check engine light. That was fixed without an issue. They called work a couple of other things (actual things I knew about, not how some dealerships try to run up the bill.) I told them to go ahead and fix those as well. Turns out one thing they couldn't fix due to someone's previous attempt so they didn't charge me for the time it took to ascertain that
My wife scheduled an apt a week in advance to get the oil changed and hopefully have some items fixed that were recalled... They said it would take roughly two hours for everything... At 2 hours we walked around a near by shopping center, came back and the recalls werent completed yet... They said it would take another 30 minutes to complete and they were ready to go.... We dont have the ability to be at the mercy of your dealership due to your lack in planning and preparation on managing your employees schedule and calendar... We have a two year old, my wife is 8 months pregnant, and spending two hours in a waiting room is not something she can do every 6 months....
On the other end, it's not the employee's fault... it's management and what culture they have created to not have a sense or urgency or at least knowning their clients... I will never buy another Chevy, this being our very first at 27 years old, based on the this level of service. With a baby on the way, and a two year old, they shouldn't have to wait 2 and half hours for a service to be completed, we live 6 minutes away from the dealership.... they could have shuttled them back to the house and shuttled them back.... especially since we purchased the car from TB Chevy.....
This is the standard that TB Chevy has and the expectation of this pattern of service is very clear. Again, this is not an employee issue, this is a management issue.
Today's visit was just for servicing and tire rotation. I had a 9:30am appointment. Did not have to wait at all. Robert greeted me and did all of the necessary paperwork. Service was prompt and efficient. I continue to praise staff and efficiency at Labonte's.
Kevin Johnson and David Nolan went above and beyond to turn what started as a really bad scenario into a very pleasant experience. Bobby Lemons was the best sales person I have ever worked with on a car purchase. He is exceptional and you should be very pleased to have him on your staff.
